All youth program drama applicants who successfully come through our audition process go on to become students who are tutored by Professional Drama Tutors, Actors, Singing Teachers / Voice Coaches and Choreographers and will on occasion have the privilege of meeting and doing workshops with other Guest Professionals currently working within the industry.

   London Drama Classes

UKTheatreSchool London - Academy of performing arts opened its doors in London, England in January 2006. Our classes take place within the premises of Danceworks London Studios in the heart of London’s West End.

   Glasgow Drama Classes

Our Students trained within the premises of The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama however; due to the success of our school and the need to expand on what we do we have been fortunate enough to afford our own new purpose built Performing Arts Academy. UKTheatreSchool opened its doors in November 2006 in their new premises at 4 West Regent Street, Glasgow, Scotland.

   Adult Drama Courses

We will soon be introducing Adult courses within our Glasgow Studios in Acting classes, Singing classes and Dance classes.  Courses are available for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels and all placements are by invitation following a successful audition or interview.  for a Prospectus and Application Form please call 0141 332 5192

UK REHEARSAL Studios

The new premises at 4 West Regent Street in Glasgow are named The UK Rehearsal Studios for Dramatic & Performing Arts and house seven brand new rehearsal studios.

The drama studios will boast the same Harlequin dance flooring used by the National Ballet, top grade Ballet Barres, high spec Sound Systems, brand new Upright Pianos, Changing Rooms for students and a Merchandise Shop.

The Studios surround an outdoor Performance Area and Young People from around the country can easily commute as the drama Studios sit in the heart of Glasgow City Centre (2 minutes walk from Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street Train Stations as well as a 3 minute walk from Buchanan Street Bus Station.

UK and United Castings

UK Theatre School has its own casting department that takes care of any students wishing to be put forward for work. UK Castings concentrates on representing its members as the agent and it has also joined forces with United Casting Extras Ltd. This allows both companies to combine their efforts is finding work for our members. United Casting concentrates in the ‘Extras' field and have been working hard since our recent merger finding Extra work for many of our Students in River City, TV and Radio Adverts, Voiceover work and Film work.

One of our young Students 14 year old Mark MacKenzie was awarded a part in River City. The River City Casting Directors have expressed their delight in the calibre of the students emerging from UKTheatreSchool.

Also, young Zoe Coutts was successful in gaining the main part in the latest KFC advert.

Many of our students can also be frequently seen on Taggart, Rebus, Still Game, River City as well as television adverts and other advertising campaigns.

Our students are currently auditioning for an up and coming feature film due to shoot in Scotland.
